The Handmade Nazar Necklace Collection

 Made lovingly by hand, in collaboration with local silversmiths in Izmir, Turkey, our Nazar Boncuk collection comes in two beautiful designs and finishes.

Available in a circular shape featuring a stunning 24 ct gold plated finish or a patinaed Sterling Silver square design, both perfected with a hand-laid Turkish Turquoise glass enamel. 

Each talisman is accompanied by a beautiful matching chain and jewelry bag made from the offcuts of our handwoven fabrics. 

Throughout Turkey, the 'Nazar Boncuk' is a symbol that is culturally recognized as the eye of the Divine and the protector of whom it adorns, a time-honored talisman that is believed to be a guardian against the negative vibrations of the world around us.

Please note that our Nazar Collection, just like our handwoven robes and textiles, is designed to get better with age and wear. The finishes of these hand-crafted pieces are made to patina and change with the oils of your skin and contact with water and residual soaps from ongoing wear.

In the Turkish tradition, one rarely will take off a Nazar charm once they have begun wearing it and with that in mind, we created pieces that would evolve with each day of use.
