Description

These gorgeous mid-weight Turkish towels are made from locally-sourced Turkish Cotton and handwoven on traditional 100-year old shuttle looms. Sustainably made in small batches, this towel releases a beautiful texture once laundered while becoming softer and more absorbent with every wash.

We believe in buying less and using more, with our Turkish towels being the greatest representation of this sustainability practice. Our Turkish towels are not only designed to be a functional bath/poolside towel, but are also the perfect breastfeeding cover, sarong over swimwear, tablecloth, light blanket and/or shawl.

Our Handwoven towels are ethically made and hypoallergenic, made of all natural fibers and 35% more economical to wash and dry than your standard towel.

With its cheeky red streak down the length of this piece, this textile is a perfect representation of its Turkish name 'Alem' meaning 'trouble'. A timeless, earthy textile that will bring you years of use and wear.

Thread Gauge: lightweight

Colorway: Coffee with stripes of deep brown, chambray, black, yellow, and red.

Fiber Blend: 40% cotton / 60% linen

Care instructions: Cold-water wash and line dry. Tumble dry on a delicate setting is also fine and will assist in the ‘breaking in’ of your towels. Visit our Product Care page for more information.

Full-size towels = excellent

I bought these because I live in South Florida and wanted towels that dry more quickly. These have been wonderful. They are thin, but soft. Larger than a standard towel. Very happy with purchase.

Gorgeous textile!!

These Towels are stunning!! I use them as beach cover ups as well as bathroom towels, they are so lovely to wear and to use - a different technique of drying than with your traditional towel, which is fine by me... perfect for hair and for wear!!

Hair towel perfection!

I wanted a hair towel that wasn’t bulky and would dry quickly. This towel is perfect; the size fits my head and then some, but not too much. And the colors are so easy to look at. This towel makes me smile 😊
