Waste Not Want Not - Bento Bag
Description
Ever wonder what we do with scrap, damaged, or askew handwoven Oddbird textiles? Our incredible in-house tailor Mike gives them new life by creating the gorgeous pieces in our WNWN collection.
Made in-house by our talented tailor, these handwoven, reusable Bento Bags are a wonderful and beautiful alternative to single-use plastic bags. Traditionally used in Japan as a nap sack for lunches, Bento Bags are also a wonderful way to store dry goods like potatoes, bread, grains, fruit, and vegetables along with offering a great alternative to gift wrap.
Not only are they an eco-friendly alternative to plastics but our bento bags are also perfect as a cute handbag or smaller storage for cosmetics to use inside a larger tote.
Fashioned from our remnant handwoven fabrics, our WNWN Bento Bag is another way we are giving new life to our painstakingly created textiles, as we work toward being a zero textile waste company.
