1. BUST: Measurement from one underarm to the other when the product is laid flat. Double this measurement to include the full width of the front and back. 

2. WAIST: Measure around the waist, with the tape measure flat against the figure and snug but not too tight. 

3. HIP: Measure the fullest part of your hips standing with your feet together. Make sure to measure over your buttocks as well 

4. INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to the inside seam of the leg while wearing your best fitting pair of pants. Wearing shoes is recommended to make sure the length is correct for you. Measure to the 1/2" 

5. FRONT RISE: Measure from the seam at the very center of the pant's crotch to the top of the front waistband 

6. WRAP: Refers to how the item wraps around your body. For example, if the wrap measurement is 50" and your hips measure at 40", that would leave you with 10" of overlap which is the recommended amount for full coverage.  

7. SLEEVE WIDTH the circumference of the widest past of the sleeve

8. SLEEVE LENGTH: The measurement from the collar to the wrist of the to 

9. LENGTH: length of the garment is measured from the mid-shoulder to the hem

Handcrafted by local artisans, our Turkish textiles are all ethically and sustainably made with pride.

Multifunctional and quick-drying, it can easily be packed into a summer bag to be taken to the beach, worn as a duster coat over jeans, or a cover-up over lingerie or after a bath. Great to throw on in the morning while enjoying your cup of coffee and whipping up breakfast.

The gorgeous counterpart to our ‘Damat’ robe in Grey, this luxurious mid-weight garment is distinguished by its silky drape, wonderful warmth and its creamy coffee colorway and indigo pin-striping.

 

 

Please note: All of our handwoven textiles are washed in a traditional Turkish soap right off the loom, removing any natural allergens from the weaving process and leaving behind our signature Oddbird scent. It’s a warm, grounding aroma that’s become part of who we are for a decade. That said, if you’re scent-sensitive, a gentle soak in a baking soda and vinegar bath for a few hours, followed by a wash and delicate dry, will remove the fragrance and kick off the breaking-in process, bringing your OB towel and/or robe closer to peak softness and absorbency.

Care instructions: Our robes are all made by hand with love and recommended to be washed similarly to keep the integrity of the textile. Washing on a delicate cycle with cold water in a laundry bag is recommended if hand washing is not realistic. Visit our Product Care page for more information.

    Size Up if you have anything but straight hips

    I’m an XS/2 and got the S/M robe. It is wonderful BUT it would not preserve modesty around the hip area if I wore it straight out of the shower. I don’t, so it is ok. I also have the Sabah robe in the same size and it fits perfectly if even a little generously. Please be aware that this robe is quite a bit smaller than expected. I’d say my S/M fit more like an XXS/XS, mainly because the hip area. I’m a 32D chest and there is plenty of overlap there.

    Best ever

    The robe has just the right weight to be warming, and the lightness to be easy and cozy. And it is beautiful. Absorbs water too. What else can we ask for? Im getting ready for ordering another in a different color!

    Magic

    I have been living in this robe since I got it, and I'm beyond impressed with the quality of the fabric. I managed to get ice cream on the sleeve the first day I wore it, and it came out immediately with just a quick water rinse - no signs of a stain anywhere! I can tell already that this robe is going to be worn and loved for a long, long time, and look incredible all the while.

    Lovely but should've taken a closer look

    I love the weight and softness of this robe, right out of the box. My only qualm is that I should've taken a much closer look at the colors in the pictures. I thought this was a natural oatmeal base with black pin-stripes. It's actually a blend of brown and white thread that looks like oatmeal from a distance. I don't really love the heathered effect of these two colors together and would've preferred a single color base. I won't bother with an exchange because it's the perfect weight and comfiness, but I'm not as over-the-moon in love as I was hoping to be.

    Gelin Robe - A Christmas Present Success!

    I bought the “Gelin" Robe for my husband for Christmas. I purchased the “Gunes” for myself earlier in the summer and loved it. The Gelin is the perfect weight for the Canadian Prairie Winter. I’m now saving my pennies for a similar one for myself….The quality is impeccable !
