Two years in the making, this heirloom piece was created to honor the centuries-old Turkish tradition of gifting textiles as talismans of protection, prosperity, and love.

Each motif in this handcrafted piece carries deep meaning: The Pomegranate and the Sacred Nazar come together as one unified symbol – a powerful merging of abundance and protection, meant to watch over the home while inviting a life that continues to flourish. Four olive leaves, long-time emblems of peace and harmony, are joined by two circles symbolizing wholeness and a protected inner space. Along the border, a rising fern represents renewal and resilience, while small X motifs act as protective crossings, sealing the piece with intention and a promise of safety.

As traditional textile arts in Türkiye fade rapidly in the rush toward faster and cheaper, we hope to keep this ancestral ritual alive.
