Sustainably-made in small batches from raw Turkish linen and finely woven Turkish cotton, this beautiful product not only offers an alternative to the standard terry but also uses 35 percent less energy to wash and dry, an aesthetic and eco-friendly substitute for the home.

The incredible texture and hand of our Limited Edition Fener towel continues to reveal its true self with every wash, getting softer and more absorbent with use and only becoming more supple and refined with time. No small feat for any textile, but a coveted feature of our carefully handcrafted Oddbird pieces.

In addition to its function as a bath and beach towel, to get the most out of your Oddbird towel you can use this heavy-weave as a wonderful shawl, a blanket at the end of your bed, picnic rug, or tablecloth.

Please note: All of our handwoven textiles are washed in a traditional Turkish soap right off the loom, removing any natural allergens from the weaving process and leaving behind our signature Oddbird scent. It’s a warm, grounding aroma that’s become part of who we are for a decade. That said, if you’re scent-sensitive, a gentle soak in a baking soda and vinegar bath for a few hours, followed by a wash and delicate dry, will remove the fragrance and kick off the breaking-in process, bringing your OB towel and/or robe closer to peak softness and absorbency.
