While searching for new ways to expand Oddbird’s blanket collection, the Founder and General manager sister duo discovered that they each had the same traditional Kilim rug pinned to their Pinterest boards for inspiration! Feeling inspired by this happy coincidence, they set about reimagining the time-honored geometric Kilim pattern with gentler pastel tones and neutral accents to create a multidimensional piece that complements just about any space.
Thus our Kilim Blanket was born! Made with heavy 4-ply cotton gauze and fashioned to fit both a King and Queen sized bed, this piece showcases a dynamic, traditional design with a color palette that allows the versatility to blend in flawlessly into any bedroom decor. It is really beautiful, but it snags so easy. We aren't even sure how the snags happened as we are so careful with it.

In regards to the snagging you mentioned, being that gauze is a loosely woven fabric that encourages airflow and breathability it also can catch on things at times. This blanket is so soft, light weight yet keeps you warm and cozy! We have two cats and a large dog and after two days it was already severely snagged - I get it - gauzey material but I have another gauze blanket that has no snags. Would give it a 5 star if it weren't for the weaker material for such a gorgeous yet pricy blanket.

This blanket caught my eye and I love it. I wanted a lightweight, good sized summer cover for my bed. I live in AZ and this is perfect paired with just a sheet. The colors are a bit more muted in person but it's still as great as it looks in pictures. Very easy to match sheets or pillows/accessories. I find the quality to be very good (it can snag easy, but this is the nature of the fabric, I don't feel that's the quality). I'm now curious about their towels and other items. The price is a bit high - I'm happy with my purchase, but it's also a more unique piece. I may not pay as much again unless it was also unique. Over very pleased with this!
