'Aydin' meaning morning light in Turkish, our newest loungewear staple is inspired by the first spark of light to grace our day. Familiar in all the ways a new dawn is, our Aydin dress is a wistful and modern reimagining of a flattering and time-honored 'wrap' silhouette.

Designed to be worn in the comfort of your home as a house dress, over swimwear as a light layer, or as the perfect summer day dress when stepping out. Featuring a flattering drop sleeve that hits the tricep juuuust right, a single pocket for convenience, and lengthy waist ties to wear two ways; tied loose in front to create a flowing silhouette or to wrap around cinching the waist for a more dressed up look, this piece is not only comfortable but easy to wear.

Cut & sewn in small batches in historic Turkey, using a uniquely woven 100% Turkish cotton gauze that is spun and dyed to order by local artisans and handcrafted ethically and sustainably with pride.

Love it!
This fabric feels so good! And I love the cut. It’s perfect. But- when I walk about, it flaps open to reveal …! So I have to pin it or awkwardly hold a coat over my legs when I walk around. Any suggestions?

The Perfect Dress
As someone who can sometimes feel out of place in a dress, I love that this is one I can throw on without ever feeling overstated or like I'm trying too hard. I also love that Oddbird makes their pieces versatile with how you can choose to wear it -- makes you feel like you get more than one outfit out of a single piece. I just found out I'm expecting my second kiddo and this time around I'm living in all Oddbird pieces, they're so wonderful at what they're set out to do.

Cool and soft gauze fabric, beautiful wrap
LOVE this: soft and comfortable for Texas summer days. I wear an XS in this (5’7” 120 lbs, 31-25-35) and I pair it with the Kardes short in XS to wear outside the home so that I don’t have to worry about a breeze revealing too much. Elegant and comfortable, my two favorite things in a clothing item.

Have this in two colors!
Love this dress - it's the perfect summer and shoulder season weight. I get compliments on how flattering it is all the time. I typically wear some bike shorts under it with a bralette and it's the perfect for work > play setup. 5'5", 128lb and the XS fits perfect. I also had one in a small during post-partum and it fit beautifully.

Adaptable, amazing dress
I bought these when I was pregnant with my third child. These dresses continue to evolve for me however as i now use a feeding tube for nutrition. The Aydin is ann incredibly beautiful, resilient and adaptable dress.
