The 'Aydin' Şile House Dress

I treated myself to two of these dresses (along with a few other peices) for my birthday this year and I could not be happier!! I ordered the Graphite and a “surprise box” which turned out to be Marigold. When I wear these dresses, everyone wants to know about them. They are well made, thoughtfully and stylishly designed and in general a core wardrobe peice I hope to keep for many years. I suspect I will own all available colors in just a matter of time. Bravo, I’m comfy, happy and joyful about my new faves!

I originally bought this dress in desert rose to use as a substitute for the awful ill-fitting paper gowns they give you at the doctors’s office. My OB/gyn was very impressed with my style. So was I. I loved it so much that I wear it for lounging, running errands, and, since it’s so cool and comfortable, as a casual summer dress. I’m here today buying another in marigold. Thanks, Oddbird, for carrying extended sizes. I really appreciate when a company accommodates people of all sizes.

I purchased the Aydin house dress in Marigold in size 1X. I bought it for maternity photos and it was the best decision. I am in between the XL and 1X, and could potentially have done the XL, but I'm happy with going bigger. I was able to tie the wrap around my belly and expanding waist with a little extra fabric leftover.

The fabric is super light and soft and being able to tie it in two different ways gives the dress two different feels, which is fun. The marigold color is amazing and I ended up buying the Kardes Siles separates in the same color. Will continue buying from Oddbird going forward!

After a lot of lurking and considering, a sale on the Kahve colorway prompted me to go ahead and order. As a Canadian, I'm always aware of potential shipping snafus when ordering from another country, but shipping was very fast and completely hassle-free, with no additional duties required on delivery. The dress itself is WONDERFUL! I wore it immediately for a lunch date and felt comfortable, confident, and pretty. I also ordered a Balci robe and when the weather cools, I'll pair the robe and dress for additional comfort and coziness. I'm so glad that I decided to go ahead with this order, and I look forward to enjoying my dress (and robe) for a long, long time!
