Designed to perfectly complement our beloved bestselling Bereket Blanket, these pillowcases are not just a stunning bedroom accent but a testament to our commitment to sustainability. Crafted with care, each pillowcase is handwoven and meticulously tailored using repurposed production seconds, minimizing textile waste without compromising on quality or OB’s signature style.

Inspired by the centuries-old Turkish tradition of gifting textiles as talismans of protection, prosperity, and love, every motif carries meaning. The Pomegranate and the Sacred Nazar come together as one unified symbol – a powerful merging of abundance and protection, meant to watch over the home while inviting a life that continues to flourish. Four olive leaves, long-time emblems of peace and harmony, are joined by two circles symbolizing wholeness and a protected inner space. Along the border, a rising fern represents renewal and resilience, while small X motifs act as protective crossings, sealing the piece with intention and a promise of safety.

Fashioned to fit a queen-sized pillow, our Turkish cotton shams are as soft as they are durable, designed to be laundered in your washer and dryer and last a lifetime of cozy cuddles! Ethically-made in small batches and handwoven from a heavy-weight cotton blend on century-old shuttle looms in historic, Turkiye.

Please note that our beautiful handcrafted blankets and pillowcases are washed in a traditional Turkish soap right off the looms to eliminate any allergens that accumulate from the weaving process. The soap is scented with a fragrance that has been beloved by our community and part of the Oddbird brand for over 8 years. The scent will slowly dissipate with laundering (which is often a sad day for our customers!) but may not be appropriate for those sensitive to fragrance.
