These gorgeous mid-weight Turkish towels are made from 100% luxury Turkish cotton and handwoven on traditional 100-year-old shuttle looms. Sustainably made in small batches, this towel releases a beautiful texture once laundered while becoming softer and more absorbent with every wash.

We believe in buying less and using more, with our Turkish towels being the greatest representation of this sustainability practice. Our Turkish towels are not only designed to be a functional bath/poolside towel, but are also the perfect breastfeeding cover, sarong over swimwear, tablecloth, light blanket and/or shawl.

Complete with a matching bath and hand towel and a companion robe, these pieces boast a tonal palette of Oddbird's favorite winter hues featuring warm coffee browns and tans accented with intricate charred olive and charcoal striping, a unisex piece that is perfect for sharing or matching with your significant other!

Our Handwoven towels are ethically made and hypoallergenic, made of all-natural fibers, and 35% more economical to wash and dry than your standard towel.

First foray

Hooray for my first foray into a nice luxury Turkish towel. We just remodeled our bathroom and wanted something unique. These are perfect. Love them. I have only washed them twice so they haven't even reached their full potential yet. Can't wait.

I love Oddbird products but...

I am a repeat Oddbird customer who gave all of my siblings beautiful sets of towels for Christmas. So I jumped on this sale and have been disappointed. The woven fabric is beautiful and I can see how it would look nice as a table cloth, but I wanted to use them as towels and they are just not absorbent enough for that purpose.

We're sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Efe towel. All of our towels require a breaking in process that includes the initial soak to help the threads become more thirsty and absorbent followed by a wash and dry. Typically it takes up to 5 wash and dry cycles for the fabrications to reveal their true hand!

Absolutely Gorgeous

Wow, I am in love with these towels. The small is generously sized. The large one is as well and I want to use it for everything— table covering, wrap/shawl/scarf/sarong, light blanket, oh right and towel. The browns are lovely…a slightly cool dark charcoal, coffee, latte/khaki, good mix of neutral tones. The colors are best represented on my iPhone by the images of the small towel hanging on the kitchen cabinet door.

The hand is really pleasant, natural with a slightly coarse but soft weave, it drapes beautifully. Thrilled and wish I’d ordered more! These towels are definitely a lifestyle.
