'Aydin' Şile House Dress

I purchased the Aydin house dress in Marigold in size 1X. I bought it for maternity photos and it was the best decision. I am in between the XL and 1X, and could potentially have done the XL, but I'm happy with going bigger. I was able to tie the wrap around my belly and expanding waist with a little extra fabric leftover.

The fabric is super light and soft and being able to tie it in two different ways gives the dress two different feels, which is fun. The marigold color is amazing and I ended up buying the Kardes Siles separates in the same color. Will continue buying from Oddbird going forward!

After a lot of lurking and considering, a sale on the Kahve colorway prompted me to go ahead and order. As a Canadian, I'm always aware of potential shipping snafus when ordering from another country, but shipping was very fast and completely hassle-free, with no additional duties required on delivery. The dress itself is WONDERFUL! I wore it immediately for a lunch date and felt comfortable, confident, and pretty. I also ordered a Balci robe and when the weather cools, I'll pair the robe and dress for additional comfort and coziness. I'm so glad that I decided to go ahead with this order, and I look forward to enjoying my dress (and robe) for a long, long time!

I'm going to live in this dress this summer! My hips measure about 54" but I ordered the 2x and I'm glad I did, even though it's a little too roomy up top (I'm very hippy but not very busty). I tend to be pretty active and that ample wrap on the bottom half really helps me feel like it's a dress instead of a robe. I do wish the fabric was a touch thicker or more tightly woven because it's fairly see-through and I have to wear it with a slip if I'm going out of the house. I noticed the straight-sized version has some kind of backing or lining to help with that but the plus size version doesn't. Overall though this is a beautiful, easy to wear dress!

Beautiful garnement! Love the fabric, colour and shape… but I it’s was one of the firt time I’m buying clothes online and I took a size a bit too big for me.

I own this robe in a size 5X in canyon rose (I’m 5’4 and usually wear a size 4X/26, for reference). It is the best piece of loungewear I have owned in my life. The colour and fabric are phenomenal, the fit is roomy and adjustable, the ties dont come loose on their own, it never gapes at the neck and it comes high enough to be worn without fear of flashing a breast by mistake, the shape and length are simply perfect, comfy and flowy but also structured and intentional. It’s not my first Oddbird piece and they truly never disappoint. As a plus size customer with tragically limited options, it’s the brand I’ve been waiting for my whole life. Nothing about it feels like compromise. 💖
